Markus Bayer

Markus Bayer is Ph.D. student and research fellow at the University of Duisburg Essen‘s Chair of International Relations and Development Policy.

He is currently working on a project on “Nonviolent Resistance and Democratic Consolidation.” His latest publication is on the Democratic Dividend of Nonviolent Resistance, co-authored with Felix S Bethke and Daniel Lambach. He has also written for Peace Direct's Insight on Conflict.
